The Meaning of My Birth Date

Your Birthdate: June 11
Your birth on the 11th day of the month makes you something of a dreamer and an idealist.
You work well with people because you know how to use persuasion rather than force.
There is a strong spiritual side to your nature, and you may have intuitive qualities inherent in your make up, too.

You are very aware and sensitive, though often temperamental.
Although you have a good mind and you are very analytical, you may not be comfortable in the business world.
You are definitely creative and this influence tends to make you more of a dreamer than a doer.

Please - for those who know me, could you please leave some comment?? The description is rather accurate!!!

India's Condom Nightmare

(New Delhi) Eight months after a government agency warned that 75 percent of India's condoms were being used for just about everything except sex the government has done little to stop the abuse.

India now has the highest rate of AIDS of any country in the world and the government distributes billions of free condoms annually, but most fall into the hands of black marketeers who sell them for everything from the manufacture of saris to paving of roads.
Last August the abuse was documented in a report to the government prepared by King George's Medical University of Lucknow. The report warned that unless the government immediately acted to stop the vast majority of condoms from being grabbed by manufacturers the number of cases of HIV/AIDS was rise dramatically in the world's biggest democracy.
The Economic Times newspaper reports that since the report was issued virtually nothing has been done.

Sari weavers place the condoms on their thread spools and the lubricant on the prophylactics is rubbed off on the thread, making it move faster through their sewing machines.

Contractors use shredded condoms mixed with concrete and tar to pave roads. The latex apparently helps make the roads smooth and resistant to cracks.

Builders are using the condoms on the layer that lies beneath the cement plaster on roofs and as heat penetrates they expand to form a waterproof layer that prevents seepage.
Alf: The Indians are creative aren't they?

Let's get tough, says top copper, Herald Sun

In an interview to mark her fourth anniversary as Victoria's chief commissioner, Ms Nixon also told the Herald Sun reducing the road toll was a major priority.

She wants the community to consider:

MAKING it harder to get a driving licence.

ALLOWING police to seize the cars of repeat speeding offenders.

REDUCING the power of cars able to be driven by young drivers.

ENCOURAGING parents to take a greater role in helping stop the killer problem of young people driving fast cars with distractions like loud music and several passengers using mobile phones.

TOUGHER penalties for life-threatening activities such as speeding, drink and drug-driving and not wearing seat belts.

Sounds familiar to anyone eh? Yeah, ME!!!

alfred, your most positive energy is flowing from your Fourth Chakra

This chakra is located in the center of your chest, near your heart. The fourth chakra represents higher emotions, such as love, tenderness, and compassion. In your case, this chakra appears to be clear and unblocked so that positive energy can flow from it freely. Radiating positive energy from your fourth chakra indicates that you've cultivated higher wisdom concerning the important life lessons associated with this energy center.

You're apt to possess an emotional maturity and depth that allows you to empathize with others. Whether you're interacting with strangers or the people closest to you, your fourth chakra conveys the kind of true compassion that can set others at ease.

Whether they're allowing positive energy to flow or preventing it from doing so, all seven of your body's chakras contribute to how you are feeling on a day-to-day basis. When they're balanced, you feel energized and at the top of your game. When they're unbalanced, you may feel tired or 'off'.

While we have focused on identifying the one chakra that allows your positive energy to flow most freely, we have also discovered the ways your other six chakras are handling the passage of energy.

Star-watch 7: the return of the jay-day

Gemini

This coming four weeks should be a time of reflection and consolidation. Looking at what you've done over the last year of your life and assessing what you may do in the future. You must avoid trying to control things by being secretive at this time and be honest with loved ones. There's an air of unpredictability at home tonight.

No where

Soon the sky that I look into every night before i sleep will be just different. It's a piece of loss that is not very significant, not quantifiable. However it eats away my heart bit by bit everytime I think about it.

When one gives too much hope that allows one to float temporarily, the wound just cuts open more widely and deeply when one falls. It's kind of a pain that doesn't slap me in the face or a icy cold bucket of water splashed onto me to wake me up. I am not asleep, but my consciousness is trailing off and waning.

As the pain subsides and resurfaces, I lead myself onto a smaller and more narrow path, one after another. Do I see the end coming? The undergrowths are greeted with fresh blood when they brush my flesh ever gently. Do I see the end coming?

Perhaps the end doesn't end just there...

Going |3@ck to where i came from
